Since I started a Glasszon (thanks to 7th Army Viota) I've been wondering, is it possible to make a Barbarian much like a Glasszon, with nothing into anything except Strength for the best possible damage.

It's possible, but it's not gonna work very well. o_O

how much of a boost would your bo give you? probably not enough to make it viable right? sounds interesting though.

Well do Barbarians get the 1%ed for every Dexterity point like Amazons....I think they either don't get it till 200 or they don't get it at all?

they don't call it glassbarbs.. they call strength builds "titans". quite fitting.

@OP it's certainly possible since barbs have warcries to boost defense, life and crowd control. what you lose in vitality can be mad up by +life mod from equipment. this will be boosted by bo. do note you have to be more cautious in your attacks as well since you still have considerably less life than vita barbs.

@theOG
you get strength ed bonus in melee attacks. this varies in different weapons

ie, swords get 1% bonus ed per strength pt while hammers get 1.1% bonus ed per strength point.

The same can be said about dex barbs and vitas. They all have weak and strong points. No one way is THE way to go.

Strength=more damage, lower AR, lower life.
Dex=less damage, more AR, lower life.
Vita=less damage, less AR, more life.

Wow...imagine that.

Anyway, titans are definitely a choice in building your barb. Just be careful as higher AR barbs will pick away at you, unless you have decent enough AR of your own. The biggest flaw on titans seems to be that they don't hit as often even though they hit a lot harder, that and the obvious life loss from lack of vita.
