I want to a better damage rating out of my zeal. i do about 50-170damge with my Civerb's Cudgel.
also im on act 1 nightmere and i want better amour i have suppior plate mail 170 defence

what exactly are you asking for here? better gear suggestions or what?

We dont know your current level so sugeestions would be hard. Make some runewords or get weapons that have a better average damage. If you make runewords, make them out of a good weapon. Make Honor or sumthing like that. The Armour, make stealth

he's lvl 31 according to the sig but i still don't get what he wants to know. and yes and honor would be decent and fairly easy to make.

Let's break it down.

Better damage - upgrade your weapon from civerb's. It's a decent at best weapon for low levels, but doesn't have the damage for nightmare or hell. As has already been mentioned, honor in a knout or divine scepter (esp. if you can find one with +fanat) is a powerful weapon and pretty cheap. The countess should cough up the runes for one pretty easily. Eventually you'll want to upgrade to an elite unique or higher-end runeword for hell.

Armour comes in two categories pretty much. Twitch, and everything else. Twitch is an excellent armour for its offensive mods, otherwise if you want defence, slap on the nearest decent-defence rare (or even just a plain eth armour) and upgrade defence as you find new items (without putting too much strain on vita).

Pallies have a fair bit of leeway thanks to their shields.

or u could try war hammers, theyr probably the toughest non-rare/unique weapons out there, try gamble one with like 50% enhanced damage, that should boost your damage significantly

oh and about the armour, just look for some that gives u decent resists, since ur block will protect you from most melee attacks

Best mid level weapon for a zealer I found is Coldsteel Eye Cutlass. It's very fast to take advantage of zeal speed, does decent damage and has mana leech as well. For armor, I'd recommend any of the exceptional low armors (Spirit shroud, Vipermagi or Flayed one).
Another option I use regularly is Milebrega's set with Sigon's gloves, boots and belt. Great defense, speed, damage and leech with +3 skills.
