cheaper pvp char?

Ive been wanting to get back to pvp but as I just started out again its rather frustrating being poor since I cant make the chars that I used too. So far all I can do is mf with my sorc which is boring ;_;

I just recently made a dusk enigma, I could make a hoto once my trade goes through but im not sure. Ive wanted to make a bvc but I can't afford his weaps/charms :P so just wondering what a decent cheap pvp char I could make? I cant make up my mind >.<

Bvc is definetly very expensive. Try a sorceress, or a trap sin(can go pretty expensive, but also can be pretty cheap, and you just spam traps/mb/tele etc.)

You can make a pretty strong trapsin on the cheap. If you stumble across a good 15+ fcr sorc ammy I'd tell you to make a 200%fcr one, however the amulet and circlet can be costly.

You can build a decent windy pretty cheap. A good pelt is bloody expensive, but you don't need an amazing one to do well.

However, as you start to pimp out chars properly, they all get pretty damn expensive.

I found a hoz so was able to get a ebotdz :) still got jah 3 puls and a 33 hoto to trade so i made a barb. hes wont be the best geared but meh will be fun building him up

People who claim that the 30 stats on botd account for the extra damage of grief are incompetent at maths, or too lazy to actually do the calculations. People then believe such detritus and do the same. Simply because a lot of people do something (poison/gmb bowazons anyone?) doesn't mean it's good.

And I will continue to disagree with dain about BotD being as bad as he says. ;P But my reasons for it don't involve damage.

And vouch on the characters getting more expensive as you add to them. -_-;; My barbs went from cookie cutter to full stash of "just in case" items over the years. ._.;

Personally, I think for a Barb, Greif is inferior to ebotdz, basically because its too slow.

I say Grief/BotD are about even...and it's only judged on what reason you're using them. If you don't NEED the attributes...you have no excuse to not use a Grief. And as far as WW goes...IAS on Grief and BotD don't matter (given what you're making them in AND that you hit the right IAS BP on the Grief).
