Griefz or Ebotdz

What would be a better weapon for a WW barb Griefz or Ebotdz?
Also does griefZ lose durability really fast? btw im pvp/pvm

Ebotdz ~ PvM

Repair costs shouldn't be an issue if you're serious about it. Grief deals more damage even though Ebotdz has decent stats itself.

1 Ort Rune + 1 Chipped Gem (any kind) + Weapon = Fully Repaired and Recharged Weapon
You cannot repair ethereal weapons.

In bvb, botd isn't any sort of serious contender. The only real options are grief and fury... a rare cruel/fools/2soc/quickness ethrep zerker/balrog is also up there. There's a lot of empty space between these and botd.


For bvc, there's no contest at all. Grief > all.

okay. if i were to make a barb to do ubers (using frenzy) what would the two bets weapon choices be, also whta armor/helm would i use?

I've seen a number of good BvBs use BotD. I'll admit that the damage factor is nowhere close to Grief, but BotD will always have the "balance" in my eyes. It has lower damage but the 30 to stats help in multiple ways. The strength for gear meaning 30 more points into vita that DOES get the BO bonus, dex for AR and the 30 vita that doesn't get the BO bonus.

Both have their uses, but BotD is nowhere near as useless as people say just because it doesn't do as much damage.
