foh shield question

hey i have a question of whether to use a light faceted hoz or a 4 light faceted pala specific shield??

could u plz tell me the pros of y to use the shield u picked vs. the other

Hoz would be better all around, since you can max block easier just in case melee closes in on you, plus you still have a socket to do whatever with. The damage still increases with the skills and you get a ton of res.

But some "omg dmg" addicts use the 4 facet monarch for that GFG damage. But I'm more into balance than all damage.

yes, they do exist, and i'm sure we alllll just happen to have one of those sitting on a mule somewhere.........

without one, i'd suggest a HoZ. FoH is on a timer, so FCR isn't going to bring big benefits.

i see a lot of FoH/Smite pallys using a CtA made in a +FoH scepter as their FoH wep.

another fun option for a pvp FoH'er is to use the Griswold set. 12 sockets to stuff full of facets isn't to be sneezed at. the extra -60% to enemy lit res over and above the conviction is a little beyond most duelers stash kit. (most, but not all....). one of these days, i might just build one of those myself.

i've seen (on youtube) a cuople of gris setr FOHer's they dont have as hi overall dmg but the -res is to much and if u socket with nothing but perf light facets, most of the players went donw withing 1-3 FOH
