PVM WereWolf

I going to start a new Pure PVM Werewolf that going for Hell Mode...There are few question I want to ask.

What skill should I learned/ maxed ? Oak or HoW ?

Do I need to max Werewolf form?

For a poor werewolf, how is he going to fight against those PI monsters?

Should I have Grizzly Bear?

Which Merc should I go for?

Anyone? Your opinion is welcome.

A good merc is act2 nightmare defensive, which gives freeze aura.

Skill placement will vary depending on if you get rushed or not.

Do I need to invest Dex for my Werewolf as well??

For a pvm cheap wolf I would suggest a ribcrakcer as the weapon, its very cheap and very effective.

For your spirit it all comes down to which you like better life or damage

On the dex matter, for a pvm wolf I would'nt think alot of dex should be used.

I would put points into dexterity. You do get big bonuses for attack rating from the werewolf form but you might want it to carry good swords. I use mainly swords because most have fast attack and that's what I went for when I made my druid.
For Oak or HoW, it depends on if you are going for brute strength of endurance, to stay in the field longer. I'd go with Oak, because in nightmare and hell you may need the health more than you need damage.
If you want grizzly depends on if you want to focus on werewolf or balance it with summons. I'd wait for further in the game to decide If I wanted/needed any summons to help out.
I'd max werewolf if I were you.
And finally, I'm not sure about this but fire claws may hurt physical immunes. I could be wrong though.

Max block is definately a good thing to have. I have it on my wolf, and i never die. Use stormshield.

To CM: if any weapon is enchanted with any element, and the enimies arent immune to the elements but are PImmune, the elemental damage will still damage. That does include pioso too.

i would think that using oak and a good maul should do you just fine. unless you have access to fleshrender for a one hand fast attack that you can use a shield with. i put a hold on my wolf because i needed fleshrender for my veng/convict pally. it was the best dmg to speed ratio one-hander i could find. (sad...i know :-( )

fleshrender is a great melee weapon, but not to a wereshifter unfortunately.

it's great as a shapeshift prebuffer, but the weapon is very very slow. do keep in mind that wereforms attack speed depends mostly on the weapon speed..
