Death's web + infinity

My death's web, gives -53 enemy poison res. If I combine it with a merc, that has lvl 12 conviction from infinity, will it add up from my death's web? So I then will have -138 in total?

Conviction dosn't remove any poision resist, only for cold, lightning and fire.

Nope, conviction works only for elemental resists, not for poison.

Furthemore the -res from Death does not break immunes, so even if conviction lowered poison res, the -poison res from Death would only be applied after a poison immune monster has it's res broken ;)

Same goes for all other elements. For example fire facets won't help with breaking immunes :p
