Fire zon?

I heard somewhere that a fire zon is the best to use if your going to play thru untwinked. Anyone ever tried this?

actually, imo it's the other way around. frozen arrows are much better. there are just too many FIs in hell.

nonetheless, if you go a single elemental bow route, you'll still need a backup attack against immunes. so, a physical bow skill or java skill would be nice to have as well =)

Ah, yeah I forgot to mention that. The guide I read said that fire/ice is the way to go. It claims that this build is not bow dependent like most zon builds.

Hmm a fire/ice zon would work ok but id also advise putting one point into the prequestits up to light fury so you would be good against all imunes and java would be good for close up

Nah Jav skills aren't to great without syenergies. I say stick to Ice as a main and Fire as a switch.

lightning fury is a 20point wonder. especially with 100%pierce.

I found that guide. It's called a mageazon. I tried it out.......it's pretty good. The mana usage is nasty and having to constantly switch ice/fire in an area with both fire and cold immunes is a bit of a pain. she dies more than my strafer, but with some practice she might be fun to play.;)

Never heard of a firezon. But i play single so no wonder. I'd agree with whoever suggested cold arrows. Cold damage may be lower but consider this:
Wasting hundreds of arrows on a fire immune:50$
Lighting an enemy up like a christmas tree:100$
Freezing a blunderbore with his club an inch from your face:priceless
