Alright I got little problem here

It says:
The CD-Key you are currently using is disabled from playing Realm game.

What does it mean?

"Diablo II CD-Keys are regularly banned and accounts are closed due to hacking on Battle.net. In the case of the CD-Keys that were banned, at least one account tied to each CD-Key was identified as having used such a program while playing on Battle.net. First time offenders are banned from realm play for one month and repeat offenders are banned from realm play permanently. Users who are unsure if their CD-Key was temporarily or permanently banned will have to wait one month from the time the CD-Key was banned to determine the status." well u did something bad. they dont jus ban u for nuttin. i once got temp banned for a week for something but never totally banned.

map hack user? botter? what other programs will get you banned?

I recently bought a fresh, unused copy of Diablo 2, and I've come across this area, now is there any reason why I would be banned on playing Realm games if I haven't even been online and cheated?

You are not banned without reason. Either you or someone who borrowed the CD-key used hacks be it map hack, bots, dupe hack (do the exist anymore) tppk, tcm, aa and whatnot.

If it's a hack Warden will pick it up.

hello just bringing this old thread up as i guess its rules to bring off topics up than start a new so here it is

just got diablo 2 expansion again from ebay - brand new i installed it and i get the message

now i cant see this being expansion as its all new so does that mean it will be my orignal diablo 2 IP ?? if so does that mean nothing wrong with my expansions all along ? :( thanks !!
