Maybe it's just me, but these pics are making me really jealous, but they're too awesome to look away. Makes me wonder if i'll ever get that good but hey, I never imagined I'd be as good as I am now.

I used to be into the magic card game, lame I know, but what I liked about the game was not playing it but the pics on the cards. I've idolized the guys who do these pics ever since, though I stopped collecting them(decided It was a waste of money, no offense to anyone who plays card games.)

If you haven't guessed, I'm a big fan of the elder scrolls games. And if you didn't read the words on the picture, this is the concept art for the town of Balmora, in Morrowind.

And for my final pic before I exceed the limit, here's the daedric armor concept art that Archerdoom was talkin about. Again, whoever drew this and any other concept artists who work for Bethesda, are just more on the list of people I idolize.
And for the record, i talk about bethesda's art(the people who make the elder scrolls games) because my dream is to someday work as a concept artist for Bethesda. Or at least someday have a sketch by me become part of one of their games.

heh, although i was just trying to show the value of art, not piss you off, I do, looking back, realize that I was putting words into your mouth. Technically i guess, since I kept mentioning how you said it's "just art", which incidentally wasn't exactly what you said.
My bad.
And I'm just heated because awhile back I was talking about a future in art and my uncle was over and started about how it wasn't a real job and asking if I planned on living with my parent's all of my life.
He really got on my nerves, and I'm just letting out my anger. It's a better vent than most, but I guess I should just use my usual method of letting out anger and go work out.

Hellgate London, by Blizzard was essentially a Diablo 3. Although the style of battle changed alot, the warrior styles shared alot.

Probably the best entry idea for the templar of Hellgate London. The end result was extremely similar to this one.

Anyway, here's more pics. For thhis first pic, it's a concept from Heavenly sword. In an interview I read of the artist who did this, he used to draw this character with hair just sitting there. Then one day, they just started having their pictures with the hair flared up like that. It really gives it more of a personality just looking at it.

I'm really into all of the fantasy style stuff. Like the Chronicles of Narnia movies. And they have a crapload of artists working them, from the ideas for what creatures look like to the masks themselves. This is some of the movie's art:

This is the Prince Caspian movies art concept for a satyr. It looks nothing like a moonlord but It's still pretty sweet.
And for the last pic, some parts of the game just don't turn out like their concept counerparts. I guess when a company makes a change to something, we assume that they know best.

I guess in this case, Blizzard did know best. Making it a zombie and not a skele-thing made it a lot cooler, like it actually used to be a warrior.

Thought I'd add more concept art from Assassin's Creed. Although the game was a big letdown, it's historical foundation let in room for alot of artist's recreations of ancient cities and things like that.

These pics look the same right? That's because they are concepts of the game's silt strider. Thank god they let you fast travel in oblivion. These things were pretty cool tough, but you couldnt fight the and they weren't seige vehicles so they aren't all as cool as they coulda been.

This picture reminds me of the trend in the old fable. Which is, huge gloves and boots. But what's in his belt? What the heck. Is it a gun? That could be weird. I doubt any game can pull that off other than Sudeki (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/s/sudeki/) . If you have an old xbox, just go ahead and buy it.
