Im not sure, but its certainly possible,
MINI GUIDE
20 skele
20 mastery
20 revive
20 golem

You would lack in curses though.
I would suggest 1 pt moving towards decript, i believe thats only 4 pts

and poison bone
maybe 5 in CE
seems like a powerful summoner, however can you handle 20+ revives?

is maxing the golem really needed? i wouldn't put more than ten points in it. i'd rather pump ce.

Imo pumping points into golems is a waste - even maxed, any of them is not powerful enough. Check any skills calculator to see the actual damage and hp in all difficulties. As to revives - it will be hard for you to handle them - they have a 3 min timer so in order to keep the full army (20 guys or more) you have to raise them constantly in short periods of time (someone actually calculated that once lol), because reviving them all at once will result in losing them all at once as well, after 3 mins.

But I think it's possible. I agree with kwitt's mini guide - however some points into Golem Mastery will be useful and some points into Summon Resist are necessary. That leaves no space for curses which are essential for a necro. I would resign from golem and put those points into Summon Resist (both for skellies and revives) and some curses.

I would have to agree there, The golem is somewhat of a waste of points to max, i would pull at least 10 and even 15 off of it for curses. and maybe 5 or 10 off of revives. With revives at 10 and 9 to skills.. you still get a massive army, that would put you at 11 skeletons, 1 mage, 1 golem, and 19 revives with +9 to skills Im doing fine in hell with just 10 skeletons (so far) with 4 revies. Gl to you with your build.

thanks i think mabye ill find a summon necro guide first just to se what a regular one is like and ill find new ways to spend some points differently so as to get revives i just think it would be a good tank for bosses mabye for diablo u revive some lords and the warriors to tele on top of him then tele away and for baal thats a no brainer to tank just rvive the summons in the throne room

You can check out my guide its classic but hey you can decide your equipment for lod, just take outthe poison tree and put say 10 on revives and a few more into resistances. mines more of a hybred type mancer.

you can also check my guide too, its geared towards the expansion but it'll work for any style of play. as far as revies 1 pouint is plenty plus skill items take care of the rest. at the most u need is 12 revives running around. after 12 its hard to keep up with them, i know this from normal play. my build has like 16 of em with only 1 hard point. as far as golems go, 5 points is plenty in any of them, no more than that is worth it imo..

loki think about it if u have maxed rvives and have like 20 of em it would make it so much easier to solo diablo or baal due to the strong monsters on the way to them

well trying to keep up with more than 12 revives is a hassle, by the time you get a full army up the revives will be dead again. and if your using maxed skeletons, then you dont need 20 revive, when you have 16+ skeletons running around too. Also if you were to go with a revive only guide (no skeletons) then you're first set of revives will be useless, unless you manage to kill a few good monsters first, (which given in hell difficulty doing that with just your merc is going to be Hard. take it as you see it though, its just my personal experiance you're hearing. I've built just about every necro imaginable, including some off-the-wall builds, so I've been around the block before if you know what i mean.
