maybe im wrong but dont you need to play onling so u can get a group going so u can take out big names in the game. Or are they all soloable? it seems like offline would be fun to start and get used to it but what happens when u get to a huge name...can u just solo him? seems like it would need a group so you would need some online friends.

The game can be played solo :)

We have friends in the SP Community and sometime, if the internet connection is good, MP is available too.

I've used Hamachi for sp/MP games but yes i play mostly SP and so does skullcap as i under stand. It can be done just have to have a better build that doesnt depend on multiple players.

I have 20 odd pats/mats over both 1.09 and 1.11 and I never do any adventuring mping , the only time I do any mping is the occasional cow run. I consider any character that cannot finish the game solo as a failed character. So, yes, the game can be easily completed absolutely solo.

Edit: Just did a quick count, 8 1.09 & 10 1.11.

running the game solo in single player with just what you find in the games you play is an incrediable sense of accomplishment in my opinion. Strategy, tactics and some luck come into play.

Single Player does not literally mean single player per se.. it's part of game's menu option and also considered by non-realm gaming (ie ladder/non-ladder bnet)

so, MP-ing thru tcp/ip or open bnet is still considered SP since you're not interacting in the realms..

when you play solo, you can concetrate on the game ( like BROM said not other people). SP dueling is always fun

online you look at the game from the stadpoint that you need to wipe out fewer enemies because youll either be PvP of with a group. On single it puts you in a far different position because now you're trying to face maddened hordes that will most likely have you surrounded, so you need skills and stats required to mow them down.
