paladin using sacrafice

a paladin using sacrafice with its synergies; is it worth building? i plan to use lifetap (last wish axe, dracs), 50% damage reduction (storm shield and 15% dr belt), 20% life leech,and Fortitude armor. Does anyone have any helpful hints as to how i can additionally help to negate the 8% beating i'll take with each blow? I really want to build this and not kill myself with one hit. with lifetap, it should be ok. dracs and last wish still need to ctc, so a lifetap wand on switch should be useful to start any battles =)

Yea... i have always looked at sacrifice like "wtf... this is kinda retarded". Guess I need to dig deeper to find a use for it.

Seriously though, all a martyr needs is DR and leech, DR and leech (and enough hp that he doesn't kill himself before the leech kicks in). Against most monsters, ~30% leech and procs should be enough, for skeletons (leech effectiveness = 0) you'll want to wear marrows and lifetap them before you start swinging.
