Temporary Bans

I get temporary banned like once every day ATLEAST. Its so annoying... and i cant get back on for atleast an hour. I dont get why it happens to me so much, and if anyone could give me some advice to cut these down or something, I would like that very much.

I always get temp bans but its not 20 for me. Usually if I go into like 6 games too quickly I'll get temp banned. Always happens at the worst time like if I'm trading for muling!

If you have a Broadband or DSL connection, you can get past the temp ban by simply resetting the modem. Just power cycle the modem, (turn it off, wait 10 seconds then power on). Unless you have a static IP, the modem will assign a new IP to your connection. This will allow you to return to the game and fininsh the xfer, at a minimum.

Be advised, Bnet has tagged the domain and you can be D/Ced again by just joining one more time. This is just a quick, no nonsense way of recovering a bad Xfer.

Personally, I have done this several times in a session. I get it from muling over crap and I neglect to have each character remain in a game for any period of time. A quick reset and I'm back in.

If you have a dial up connection, you can always reconnect, but the game may be gone by the time you return.

Anything more and you are restricted from realm for 1 hour.

Do it 5 times in a row and you are banned for 12 hours (I managed to do so in a span of 9 hours, hunting D clone)

Hmm where did you get this information? I have only this info about 20games/hour..

It`s 2 games a minute and you can try as many times you want to connect to bnet you dont get a longer ban for that......

Also remember if other famliy members/friends are playing on the same router that you are using at home, then their coming in and out of games also affects the outcome of you being temped banned (remember Blizz servers looks at the outside IP address of your connection and not the local IP addresses given to each of the machines connected to the router).
