Poison amazon Question

Using the poison part of the javelin skills, does an Amazon hold up in PVM play, and on that note, would the same Zon hold up in PvP (of course with gear changes) But skills fairly the same?

Poison fares better in PvP than it does in PvM, as in PvM they usually need a second element to get anywhere. Still, a great investment of 40 skill points for a hybrid build.

Plaguezons are excellent GM private duelers, but they kill too slowly to be effective in pubby games. People will steal your kills, your opponents will antidote pot or run to town, etc.

In PVM, maxed poison skills + Fury + CS will give you a very effective character than can do quite well with cheap gear.

You'll get severely antidote'd in pub games, however if you can find people who aren't retarded, they are a strong build.

Poison Javs definitely have their use for semi-spam, but if you want to kill somebody you really need the much shorter duration of Plague. And Plague is massively superior for hiding in.
