Need help with my Trapasin

Hey guys,
I have got a pretty good trapsin going, got the lighting sentry maxed out, as well as my death sentry.I am a lev 66. Just started Act 1 Hell Ladder.
Like other characters how do you deal with the lighting immunities, What would be better putting points into the inferno sentry or finishing off my shadow master and letting him deal with the immunities issues.
Also I was considering putting points into Charged Bolt Sentry, to build up my lighting even more or wake of fire.
I just need another way of dealing with those immunities, and not quite sure whats the best way to go. Keep in mind that I do have all of those skills already so its not like I need the prerequisites.
Any thoughts is greatly apreciated,

put points into fireblast. spam them to get the first kill for DS to trigger =)

Although I am a bit surprised by the suggestion, at what lev does fire blast start becoming effective in hell?, I know I have heard that skill mentioned before, but I am a bit surprised why fire blast is mentioned, compared to the other skills, which seem to do more damage, at least on paper.

iirc wake of inferno is bugged. shadows are decent meatshields, but don't expect them to kill for you.

another option is a well-equipped merc. one that has infinity runeword would be the best for him or for you. but if cost is an issue, just find any big hurty stick for him (i'm assuming an act 2 merc here)

as for fireblast, i find it to be very useful for pvm trappers. it is synergised by ALL your lightning traps. with ~10+trap skills, a maxed fireblast can reach ~1-2k fire damage.

okay, it's totally normal that we have different opinions :) I'm a lvl 86 trapper, I got wake of fire, Wake of inferno and Death sentry to the max, plus 5 levels from my items, most of the other skill points on shadow master and the rest of the shadow disciplines. my shadow has more life points than myself! :) the traps make salad out of anything! Diablo on Hell in about a minute...? Hell yeah! :)
