A Easy To Follow Guide for Hamachi, Please!

Can anyone please write a little guide for Hamachi? I have installed it, we can connect to the same Network, but we still can't join each others Diablo TCP/IP games!?

Please help us! Thx!

one of you have to make a game and the other one have to connect on the ip that is shown in hamachi it think, correct me if i'm wrong, never tested it.

^^ ... And that's exactly what we do, and what doesn't work! :)

I have forwarded a port for Diablo. We have both turned off our Firewalls... But nothing works! We've tried anything, but nothing worked. Then I saw a few places that it's much easier to use Hamachi!... Nope! How?

Do you have the same Version's?

The one that is JOINING the game has to type the HOSTS ip address off Hamachi inorder for it to work, you do need the same versions of Hamachi i believe. Ive never ran into firewall trouble with it and ive never had to turn mine off for it.
EDIT: Also, If you havnt already, you need to make some kind of network with hamachi. Just because you have it doesnt mean that you and your friend can play, you must creat a network in order to communicate with diablo.

The host need to open the ports if he/she is connected to internet via a router/swtich or else nobody will be able to join.

We've solved the problem! I found a forum where someone said that it might help with an older version - And it did!? Dunno why. Don't care why! It just works :)

this should be good i hope. When you get in the hamachi server were your firends is, get one of them to host a ip game on diablom, then you go to diablo and join game and write the ip thats is left to the dude that hosted in hamachi.

Hamachi Server Now Online!

Network 1: bozobugz
Network 2: bozobugz2
Network 3: bozobugz3
Network 4: bozobugz4

Server/Host IP Address: 5.66.184.116

Server is on Normal Mode. I Will change it to Nightmare mode when I receive enough requests :)

NOTE: MAKE SURE ALL/ANY TYPES OF FIREWALL/S ON YOUR COMPUTER IS DISABLED FULLSTOP! IF PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS CONNECTING, ITS DUE TO FIREWALL, JUST DISABLE IT OR DON\'T BOTHER -.-

Noob Proof Instructions:
1. Install Hamachi
a. Power On Hamachi
b. Click *Join an existing network..*
c. Enter Either of the Network\'s mentioned above
Note: Leave the Password Field Blank/No Password is Required
d. If a Network you tried to join is full, then try the next one, etc.

2. Install Diablo 2
a. Install Latest Patch (1.12)

3. Launch Diablo 2
a. On The Main Menu, Click *Other Multiplayer*
b. Click *TCP/IP Game*
c. Click *Join Game*
d. Enter the IP Address 5.66.184.116 and click *OK*

4. Try To Kill Bozo xD
