ISO GG PvP Bowazon

Ok like the title says I am in search of a GG PvP Bowazon. I have looked for guides here and on google so dont hasstle me with that. The best one I have found so far is this:

It seems like a good guide but im not sure about some things. If you know of a guide that the best of the best pvp bowzons use please post. Also if the guide is used by the best of the best pvp bowzons, I have some questions:
What should my Faith be in GMB or the MB I know it is Damage V. IAS but which is truly best.
Anouther question I have is what should I use for the boots/ammy set up
Gores and Cats eye or travs and highlords

If you can help in anyway please do...

- Faith should always be in a Mat bow for PvP. People who tell you otherwise are just dumb.
- Highlord's works better on a sorc than it does on a bowazon. DO NOT USE IT AND EXPECT TO BE GOOD. Cat's Eye is the only good PvP option.
- I prefer Gores in almost all cases. There are plenty of good duelers on both sides of that argument, but I would suggest getting your FRW up to acceptable speeds before considering any other boot mods.

I dont understand why a Mat bow, wouldnt more damage be better? I have +30 att and res with both anni and torch, fort, (getting 20 ias, kb maybe +skills gloves), nos or dungoes, gores, cats, 2 rf with wisp and dwarf for switch, perf cta with lidless switch, and 45/120 helm would i be able to reach last Bp with mat...
Please explain

99.9% of PvP bowers use Faith GMB

My zon uses faith matt...her build is kind of specific though...not the average build.

Both will hit 7fpa...but you lose flexibility with GMB because you have to use certain items if you want to use Fort as well.

My zon tops out at 4k GA with 37x 3/xx/5% frws and about a 3:2 dex/vit ratio.

Most GMB zons go around 6k w/ decent charms...not sure what top end damage would be.

I can give you my zons build...but it's quite unique and takes some practice to use.

Thank you Dain - your post help me realized that the guide had been posted on Blizzsector by Bloodynigma, who took credit for it. Considering that site supports more duping and hacking than anywhere else I have seen, I am now getting the guide taken down.

GMB build will deal more damage...always. But yes, it's less versatile.

Actually, it is possible to match the GMB damage per second with a Mat bow. Granted, it requires basically tying up every item slot and is therefore useless, but perfectly possible.

The massive customisability of the GMB build makes the lack of it on a mat bow null in a comparison :p. But yes, the versatility is the main advantage, not damage.

With all-out damage, I get 7.45k average on a mat bow after crit. I can't find a gmb build that deals more (I'm hitting ~7.25k as the max on that).

Poison charms should only ever be used on a PVM zon. They SUCK in PVP. Bowazons are a build that's all about quickly overwhelming your opponent with pure damage, and poison charms completely compromise that goal. Noobs use them because the character screen shows some really massive damage with them on, but (as Veneteaou was alluding to) they do that damage over SECONDS, not FRAMES. They're a complete and total waste of inventory space on a bowazon IMO.

Dex charms are also really underwhelming. +max charms add much more damage. I'd use plain FRW charms before I'd use dex charms.

Since you should have over 500 Dex from stats and gear on a PvP bowazon anyway, Max damage charms are better. That being said, Dex is easily ten times more effective on a PvP or PvM bowazon than poison is.

Ok I have a nice GMB faith but it has fast attack speed it is kinda slow even with all the IAS I have. So can the MB faith have VERY fast attack speed?

The description on the weapon isn't what you should base your weapon's speed on, as it doesn't take into account pretty much everything.
