Depends on what you need? I usually find myself lacking resistance so I would put an all res jewel in it.

If you want more mf you can use in Ist.

I have two options rather 3
I + 1 defense like "diamond" "+ 24% to fire, cold etc. .." Cha is not working in weapons.
2 increase damage from cold
3 using a skull perfect :D...

Okay seriously you really need to clean up the language a little. I don't mean that you are cursing but your typing is horrible. It does not need to be perfect but please try to do a little better. Second what do you need that you do not have? A perfect skull will do you no good unless you hit someone with your orb and as a sorc you do not want to melee with an Occulus. You cannot leech with magic so that is out of the question. A pdiamond will also not help you as it will only give 68% more damage to undead and this also will not work with spells. You have to hit a monster or player to make it work and we are not melee.

So as orbit said use a facet to magnify your damage or if you need more mf, which is usually the only reason I use Occulus, put an Ist in it.

Orbit, we don't know what kind of sorc this is so suggesting Eschutas may be a bit premature.

Getting back on track, Sgualina, what kind of sorc do you have. Gear, skills etc?

Also if he doesnt know what a rainbow facet is or what Pgems give in weapons/doesn't know were to look for the info (I would search for "Arreat Summit" on google) he might be, and please excuse the word, a "noob" and may not be able to afford an Ist, Eschutas, or a facet, etc...

If using a rune to raise, the maximum resistance to fire and lightning?

My snowclash, raising the limit from 75 to 90 cold

Ya I realized after I wrote that that you may not have great english because of your location. Sorry if I seemed harsh there but some things you typed were hard to understand.

Eschutas is definitely NOT the way to go here as you are pure cold so no help there. I would ist the occulus for mf purposes unless you find some rare jewel that will make up for what you lack in stats, res etc. For the shako you could use an um to give +15 to all res or another ist to give you more mf again. Ist is really about the only thing besides a rare jewel you find that you would socket an occy with. A -5/5 cold die facet would be nice too.

There really isn't anything to raise your defence that you can socket the occy or shako with that WONT be a waste so dont worry about that. Just socket them with rainbow facets that will add to your damage, an ist for mf or for the shako an um for res.

try to find deaths fathom but if u cant find one then put a cold facet ( try to get 4% or 5% to cold damage)in your oculus

To understand better, my res are all up to 75 by Max, thanks to snowclash rises to 95.

so, what's your question? if you're asking whether there are runes that can raise max resists, there are. some of the higher runes provide that. check AS to find out more.

I tried, in the list of runes.
But a runa need for any resistance.
Not exits with a runa voice: "+5% max all resistors"

If you socket your shako with an um remember it gets +15 to res so that's your best bet unless you want MF and then you could ist it but I wouldnt do that myself. Maybe a pTopaz but not an ist.

Thank you for your response I was looking for something like the runes "vex, Lo, Ohm"
Because with all the items can rise beyond the limits of resistenxe "75 cold/75 fire/75lig/75pos.
The belt snowclash example, I can get to 90.
I wanted to exploit such potential, or say that it is hardly worth?


But more powerful, because I can have a single socket for oculos and for a shako.

Only 5% more is not very
