I'm going back to SP now! My friend got hackerd yesterday, so now we gonna play SP! But I have a few questions:
Can we play together on Open B.Net?
Is it possible to make Spirit runewords?
Can we HF Rush? How?
Hope you can help - Maybe some other questions will come up over time!

Check out the single player beginner guide (in Single player forum) and you will find out what you are looking for. very useful info there.

i am not exactly sure about that first question i know you cant use mods on b-net. you can probably do the single player ip address game with your friend but im not certain about open b-net games. wait for someone with more knowledge to answer. LOL but welcome back to single player.

you can use mods on open. it's closed bnet that you can't since everything is server side..
btw, it should be easier to MP with TCP/IP instead..

Download Hamachi (hamachi.cc) and then do the premium free trial for 30 days, then click make a new network - make name and password
tell him to download hamachi and click join network and type in your server info
then his name will popup with a "hamachi ip" next to it
as long as he's in your hamachi network he can join your tcp/ip games
i think this is how it works ;)

No, you don't. All you need is for one of you to have a public, unblocked, IP address.
I would try http://www.whatismyip.com/ if you don't already know your ip address.

Great... Then I can just Host a game, and he can join, just by writing my IP? Doesn't the IP adresse appear in the game when I press Tab?
Hmph... We can't join each others games!? TCP/IP or Open B.Net! Nothing works!... So please - if anyone knows excatly what we can do, please write an easy-to-follow guide! :) Or can anyone tell me how we can get our IP-adresses "public and unblocled"!?
Edit : I just googled the problem, and now I've tried to turn off my firewall and forward a port on my router... But my Homie still can't join!?!?!?!
Edit II : Now I can create a game in Open B.Net he can join, but if he create a game, I cannot join!? Why??

*go to start menu
*then click control panel
*find network & internet connections-click on it
*then click on network conections
*it will list your internet connections
*click on the one that u are using-only click on it once
*look on the task panel to the left of the network connections
*look down the list until you see the ip adress of your internet browser

IP adress in not the problem! The problem is that we can't join each others games over TCP/IP! And on Open B.Net He can only join my games. I can't join his!
... But thx for trying... Something! :)

Nice one,. this thread has alot of good discussions about ip address port.
But I find that hamachi is more user-friendly..
