i away used +skill gear for my classic mode paladin.this is my opinion you dont have to use it, Silks of the Ancients, TarnHelm, are unique +skill items you could use, and as for a shield it should be ralatively easy to find a +2 skills sceptor, amulet, and shield. you can add more skills points by wearing 2 Stone of Jordan rings. this is just how i play though. if you want resistance to the elements use GoldSkin armour and The Ward Gothic Shield. hope i helped.

And i always thought having 1 point in charge was an easy way to desynch? But idk about gear options, not my strong side.

not sure what desynch means im new to the forums. but Silks also has 5% life steal per hit witch is semi rare for a chest piece on classic. and i am just trying to help, never claimed to know what im doing lol

That's a good attitude :) Better than a lot of people across the net, i tell you.

Silks of the victor is really just a low-medium piece of starter armor, which is used by newbies because of the 1 skill. And it has mana steal, not life steal :) But still, there are lots of other good armors. Mana\life steal won't help a hammerdin which is what the thread starter mentioned.

Oh, and desynch means: When you run faster than about 120% faster run\walk, you will disappear and reappear on your opponents screen. You will run normally on yours, but the internet transfer to and from the servers will lag and that will show on your opponents screen as i described above.

Which is widely used as a strategy in pvp :)

Oh gosh, this is classic .. yikes. I think silks is semidecent in classic. I immediately assume everyone plays ladder b net.

i play both i just have more experience with classic, i was so mad when i transfered my characters from classic to x-pac, trust me anyone who is thinking about doing this DON'T.you person will be weak no matter how strong he was in classic, and all your gear will suck and become un-tradeable. i suggest to just chalk it up to the game and give 7your gear away to noobs and start fresh.
