Today I was in a chant game lvling my Druid and my youngest daughter dumped cold water all over me causeing me to stand up, take my eyes off the screen and get pwnd by Meph. Not cool.

I was in a pub game doing a Baal run with some guy and he unpartied me and pkd me in the Throne room. He was right on top of me and I didn't stand a chance. I hate ****s like that.

but when got to town accidently clicked my tp again and got killed from like 30 enemies being circled around it..

So if a player kills you in hardcore your done? Because I'm pretty sure that^ guy is a douche is thats the case.

Well, the toon your playing is done. You can always start a new one, but if you don't have anyone there to loot your corpse for you, then you lose everything and have to start from scratch.

While strolling through Flayer jungle with my friend's and mine classic hardcore barbarian project I got lagged.
I lagged a lot...
I did a quick altf4 and managed to escape the hordes of malicious dolls.
Or so I thought.
When I relogged, the char was neither dead or alive.

I was in a chant game today and saw that this guy was tanked by Baal. He was a lvl 30 pally. It sucks to see people get in over their heads like that. Know your limits. That is my only advice.

If your going to play hardcore make a barbarian b/c they have abilities and stats to help,personally I f-ing hate barbarians but if you have to play hardcore make one

dude ANY character can do hc if built right and if its controller knows what to do

Agreed. Some of it also depends on the gear you have. My overall sugestion is to just take it slow.

The worst thing to happen to me while playing would have to be me joining a hell game with my level 97 last season, only to be killed by enchant town kill. It did not bother me very much mainly because I was constantly in AFK mode, but I did miss my character sitting there looking pretty.

ive started my 1st hardcore char(a frenzy barb) lvl 32, i got to diablo in normal, and i dont have any equipment from any other chars, and i dont have access to battle.net.. so basically it seems impossible for a melee character to kill diablo in normal(in hardcore, and in single player), i can deal with everything he's got, besides his lightning hose, its just way too overpowered. even when running away as soon as i see him using it, i cant get away quick enough. in general i dont have any problems playing hardcore(it REALLY is ALL about knowing your limits) i just feel certain that diablo is overpowered. 1 thing i havent tried is maxing my lightning resist, but i dont have many options for equipment, so it would come at a price of other stats. im not stupid enough to continue trying to fight him, i actually just stopped playing with that char.. and no longer play hardcore b/c of this

I have never attempted HC yet due to the fact that I know that I will die horribly somehow and I will scream and cry and... bye bye computer. Yeah, no HC for me. I get mad enough in regular mode.

It was years ago when i played diablo 2 but this one is real engraved in my mind. Me and a friend of mine where doin meph runs on hell, but we were joining games with +-4 people in it to increase drop rate. Once we killed meph a couple of times that day we where not that carefull anymore and both got PK'ed by a lower lvl character because we where just talking to eachother. But like real hardcore players we had a good laugh about it an hour later and started doin nightmare meph runs to find another occulus (forgive me i don't remember the names realy well anymore).

HC mode is just the best, losing 2 90+ characters in practicly the same moment sux but you'll get over it :D.
