Kind of looks like an assassin but better. He's a monk, looks awesome. Probably going to be my first char. Maybe something like "ODB" or "BigBabyJesus"

Probably didn't report on it because there was kind of work and housework to do.
Either way...looks to be like the assassin except more dependent on the martial arts this time.
I still think the claws are a bit far fetched for a "bare fisted" type of warrior but...meh. Staves>claws when it comes to kung fu. o;
Completely unsurprised why Josh is excited about this class.

How can you not buy anything for a couple years?
Anyways, I wasn't overly impressed with the Monk video. Seemed somewhat bland after that.

I like some of the skills but a lot of the highlighted ones look too similar in action. The reflecting skill has me a little skeptical.
Also anyone else notice during the skill replays he had to do them multiple times then the final one was this bigger attack? Am I the only one thinking a charge-like system?

Welp there goes the paladin's chances. O:
Already got a holy warrior now.
I think the final class is the long range one for sure. >_>

They had some **** posted on diii.net, I definetly remember it mentioned charge up skills.

They had some **** posted on diii.net, I definetly remember it mentioned charge up skills.Well at least it doesn't work like the sin's did. Certain moves were charge up and others were the "finishers". I kind of like how these skills are charge ups and finishers. At least that's what I gathered from the video. You don't need diii.net to tell there was something different going on with those final hits lol.
Also I have to say I love how the "exploding palm" works. The fully charged version gives a monster a certain limit (time or steps?....steps would make more sense skillwise) and then it explodes. I kind of liked that little bit of creativity, i.e. Kill Bill.
Kids mad there's no ugly druid IMO.I don't remember who, but I recall mentioning a shapeshifting range class lol.

That would have to be an xbow user, the claws would just ruing the bowstrings >_>

Alright, now i'm certain the last class is a ranger or at least can use a bow.
I'm not sure if this is the first movie that was released, but from 6:40 - 6:55 you can see the ranger firing arrows, the one shouting "Over here"
It's the movie a bit down on the page

Those were mercs though. O_o

Omni, that brought to mind a question. Has Blizard said anything about having mercs in D3?
Omnicide

As far as hireable mercs? I haven't heard anything.
But it seems you'll get these random hirelings at the very least?

Do away with guns.every game is trying to add guns (WoW, fable 2, etc..) i think they need to stay away from guns and be cool
But def keep the bows.
Pets may be cool to replace the mercs. but theyre pets as it is..
I love monks in every online game I've ever played.
I've found my first character.

Monk idea was interesting for me, and i vote for it. But it looks way too much like Shaolin Monk and less in Zealot style. I like it anyway.....
Adding guns in Diablo 3 is nonsense, true they look cool in Torchlight. However they need put crossbows in bigger use ( hand crosbow and that kind of thing instead guns).
Yes probably new class will be same kind of archer, ranger, scout, rogue or something similar... But i cant image D3 without Paladin and his auras :(

I can.
Too many people on paladins like a lifeline. O_o

I don't like the monk's style (bearded and baldish). The concept is nice, but they could've done it on a more Zakarum-like fashion (like someone already stated, something similar to Zealots and Faithfuls in A3).
But nvm, what's done is done. Barbarian is perhaps my favourite here...
