Bone Necro

So, what should I put into str and dex for this guy? 100 str? 155 for ss? I'm not 100% positive.

Also, what the hell is a fury zerker axe worth these days in terms of HRs?

Most bone necros nowadays get 156 STR *after* gear, so they can wear a monarch shield. That allows them to wear Spirit or Stormshield as needed. If you want blocking with Stormshield, you can put enough points in DEX for max block. I wouldn't go for block on a bone necro unless I had very good +life charms.

Yeah...the biggest mistake people make with bone necros is they stock their inventory with plain PnB charms and/or go for max block. Definitely not recommended if you don't have the life to cover it. However, if you have all sorts of life charms...then it shouldn't be a problem as whether or not you have max block is only a difference of 500 life or so.

You could do something completely out of left field and use a shrunken head like, I don't know, perhaps a Homunculus. It saves you 100 or so stat points and allows max block with a modest dex investment, more stat points saved. It also gives you +2 skills and +2 curses and +resists.

or umm possibly a boneflame? no.... theres another skull thats ladder only that im thinking about. Ahh any of these skulls would be aight though.

The reason I recommend SS for MB over Homun is because of the 35% DR piled onto it, as well. That way if you DO get hit, it won't be so bad as if you had a Homun on. The dex needed between Homun and SS isn't that great and you'd only need block against melee...so SS makes perfect sense.

Edit: Yeah, Darkforce Spawn. The block rate on it is so low though. ._.;
