Aight blokes, so youve heard of a jmod.... Ever heard of a pmod?
pmod= prismatic monarch of deflecting.

if you use your socket q, and get 4 sockets, isnt this superior to a jmod?
If i remember right the prismatic gets 10-15 added to all resis. YUMMY!!!
any one have a idea what this would be worth?

If this is a blue (magic item) my understanding is it will get 1 socket from Larzuk, not 4 like a white monarch. The J in jmod stands for jewelers which is a magic (blue) prefix denoting the sockets, into which you can slap your facets.

Well, thats my analysis for what its worth.

your analysis is indeed correct FozFate. you can get 2 sockets from larzuk but nothing more since the shield is magical. using a jmod you could add 2x 15 all res jewels (with potential -15 req) for a total of 30 all res and -30% req and still have 2 sockets like a prismatic. i take it the "pmod" as you call it would be used with facets just as jmod but with the added res. if so a jmod will still be far superior.

a simple mosers or an upped mosers is probably better than any prismatic/chromatic monarch of deflecting..

around the same resists, block but way way way less strength requirements.
and you don't have to pray for 2 sockets in your larzuk quest =)
