im thinking of becoming a hardcore player, i know the risks involved, pkers, lag, etc...

i was thinking of that dethwalker guide but i need feedback

I personally only like to play harcore on SP games. That takes away several things that is annoying with playing harcore. Basically no lag, pkers, or hackers.
I think that it's much more enjoyable playing on single player.

Congrats on the step up to hardcore, I know i could never play HC because I would miss my character if it died. I would think an ele druid (for the oak and damage) or maybe a barb (for the BO) would be the best. On hardcore, the more life the better.

I'd make Summoner! They survive easy when in high lvl (and can solo all bosses in Hell in lvl 75 woooho)

Summoners go pretty well and so do trapsins as they dont require that much gear to be effective

To many tpkkers and regular pkkers around on the realms, so my suggestion is only SP.

Can be fun at übers :D
The Amazon Basin has an EXCELLENT HC community.
If you play with them, you don't have that Pk problem. :P

i went for fishy. summoners are anti lag cuz the skeles still attack when its lagging i believe
I had a no twink Summon/Werebear druid.
I got him to about 62, I think..
Then I just stopped playing HC.

Read my guide if you like a Dualsorc. Could work out very well in HC or go for the summoner.

I would be honored that my build is a consideration. i myself have used it to solo hardcore, with quite a bit of success. the key is to take it slow and easy, never be in a rush, and know when its time to save and exit for the day. ATM im helping a new player that is currently using my build in hardcore (or will be soon).

yeah, your Dethwalker guide is good, i would recommend it to anyone interested in summoner type Necros.

^ in hardcore it really sucks to die. I had a lv 21 summoner necro(before i knew about the Dethwalker build) and he died during a fight against the Arcane Sanctuary Summoner and his minions.....was speechless for alittlewhile, more shocked then angry because in a few seconds, a few fireballs, and not moving enough just killed me.
Definately take DarkPrinceLoki's advice, its always something good to learn or serves as a good reminder if you already knew it, never play tired, never rush.

Guess thats me:), im not exactly a new player.......just a noob. lol

noob= newb, short for newbie (a new player)
oh well i tried lol
something else make a private game if your afraid of pkers, and if you must play with someone else only someone that you have played with for a long time and trust. thats just common sense though

lol, what i meant is im not new to Diablo2(The game or the site) im mainly a noob(newb) on knowledge as i havent really had much to go by as ive played the game. Only when i came here (before the reset) did i have more of an idea of what to do and guides to go by.

Damn, i hate pkkers so much. They really destroy the game.. I had a trusted friend helped me up for about lvl39.. Then one day when he was offline i did some baalruns with some guy, what i thought was nice, then he just killed me. Retard.. -_-

I don't know if this was said but should someone relatively inexperienced with D2 bother doing a Hardcore char. I took a looooong break from D2 but i enjoyed Hardcore. Should i wait a bit before making a HC player (was thinking barb, dont know which build), at least 'till i get re-familiarized with the game? Oh and dying only pisses me off after i hit 20.

It would be easier for you to start hardcore right off the bat. That way you can get used to the hardcore ways, and it will over write your SC knowledge.

Keep up the good work. I only play HC and you question every action because it may be your last. Paranoia is your friend.

Bloody pkers, it takes a few fallen chars befor u can pick them from the party. Watch for the higher lvl chars(55-up) that join either en games or baal runs. There are to many tp pkers round , u dont wont death popin out a portal before u blink. so exit games that seem Fishy!! It feels good to be alive ^^

i suggest make a hardcore toon on battle.net..
only play in passworded matches with friends or by yourself.
its not really that hard by yourself, i seem to get to hell and kill baal by myself alot..
oh and never get rushed...why be a low lvl in a high lvl place?? dont make sense to me
