Druid Information and Guide Archive

Unlike the General Information Archive, this will provide useful information for the druid class, in itself. This will include breakpoints, calculators that apply to them and any "tricks of the trade" that people might not know. As with any of these archives, they are works in progress and require that if you want to know something or don't see it up here, ask or provide that information so that we can make the information more complete for others to use. This way we can help more people with a "one stop shop" for druid information. For information pertaining to the individual mods, "how to" guides or PvM information, please refer to the General Information Archive (http://www.diablo2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11633).

Hurricane/Twister/Tornado

Some people get confused as to what type of damage these spells are.

Hurricane: Cold

Twister: Physical

Tornado: Physical

Wind Druid Tactics

Telebomb: A basic tactic where you namelock your target and tele directly onto them and spam your attack as fast as you can. Due to your summon stack, you usually have the advantage here, but it doesn't work with every build.

Cast Twister Before Tornado: What this does is put the target(s) in stun as they're coming to you, and in this way your ravens and hurricane will put them in FHR while your tornadoes work on them.

"Walk-in-Tornados": Cast a few Tornadoes and walk along their path. This discourages telebombers from getting on you because they can't telebomb without taking damage, and possibly more once they're there.

Rabies and Summons

When using Rabies, remember that if you poison a target, it can spread the rabies to others, thus damaging them inadvertently. This works best against summons, which will spread to their controller.

Having said that, make sure not to use summons against any character that uses rabies.

Fury Glitch

There's a tiny glitch with Fury in that if you miss your first swing with it, you miss them all. This was the case of Zeal, but it has since been fixed. However, Fury still suffers from this setback.

Shockwave

Shockwave is one of the most useful PvM skills for a werebear. It has a wide stun radius which helps your summons and yourself with fire claws. You could use Maul, but that requires AR compared to shockwave not needing it.
