I have seen many making treads about why we play Single Player so i decided to make a tread with a long list, with the things we like about SP.
i'll start:D

1. No lagg.
2. No spammers.
3. No scammers.
4. You can play with mods.
5. -----

6. No connection interrupted error message.
7. No pathetic kids running around asking free uber runewords.
8. No Pk'ers.

Well, another reason can be: you are the lone hero, see how far can you go and defeat the Prime Evils.

sorts of satisfaction of yourself when you defeated Hell Baal at low level, as in mid 70s..

I hear that ..... solo hero against the world of evil. Using just what he/she finds along the way. I had a blast starting again with my version 1.07 Frenzy/ Whirlwind Barb. He beat hell baal @ lvl 75. Since then I have upgraded to version 1.11b. Now I have to start new characters over due to synergies and newer version. Good Luck everyone and keep playing.

Those are all reasons why NOT to play. :(

Lag + tempban + error message can all be avoided if you know what you are doing as well.

less challenging???? on b.net you kan be rushed by a high lvl dude and do baal runs with 7 friends untill your 99 on sp we do everything self.

I meant just using the same map.

On closed, it changes every game.

11. You can actually alter the maps, something like retain the map eventhough you switch difficulties.

You must have the coolest boss in the world or you are the boss to be able to play this awesome game at work. Anyways, I play SP because everything that drops "in gameplay" is legit and yours. There is no hurry to try and quickly pick up the item. :)

12) Being able to get the difficulty of 1-8 players without having that amount of players in the game. That`s a great thing about SP.

Yes i play quite a lot of SP these days x)

Lvl 72 Java
Lvl 59 Bowzon
Lvl 42 Summoner\Weredruid
And a few others.

The map is useful, I agree but less challenging in a way too.

It actually makes it more fun to play, you get to the bosses quicker, and you don`t have to feel "screwed over" every time you start a new game.

The work you do stays done.

well, it's personal preference. just inform others that you do it i guess. sort of like hellforge rushing.

imo it's cheesier than clearing an area @p1 and opening chests @p8..

nope. i don't use it. too much hassle. anw, if i lose a good map, well too bad =P

currently i've a great andy map. once i accidentally lose it, probably it's time to go back to running pindle.. =P
