Plz Help :(( I need it badly

I have a lvl 74 hammerdin for D2C.(I have x-pac, but i think d2c is more challenging)

he has the following: max block, 1k life, 7.4k damage, no fcr(needed?)

stats: 140 str- to wear chaos armor(593 defense)

51 dex- to wear shard(for duels)

240+ vitality (duh)

base energy

positive resists(23,5,1) except poison(-50)

*he keeps dying too fast and i see other lvl 74's soloing Chaos Sanctuary. Help.

I think it is based on the items you have on him.


Also..FCR is needed for a hammerdin..You need to cast those hammers fast or your just a sitting duck.

YOu still need to lvl you will get more life with that, but I think it's just your items and your FCR.

Agreed, more life and, most defintly, FCR. Get it to at least 90%. Also, max resist is very important.

Wear your shard permanently, and get another 25% to hit the 75% breakpoint. Bump up your fire and lightning resistances a little, too.


Everything else seems pretty good... you may well be playing too offensively.

well.....its pretty hard to get max resists with the +skill items i have. (+2 din sheild, +2 ammy)

*sheilds are ur main source of resists....so i cant sacrifice +2 all skills for a 3p diamonds socketed sheild (or should i)

and....should i be having that much str? i heard some ppl say that i shouldnt have more than 80 str.


but cool thing is that my chaos armor (593 def) was able to tank 2 full WW from a lvl 76 barb :)
