why lame?
that's because he jabs.. and uses a physical attack, which benefit from the ed bonus from concentration..

Concentration only benefits physical attacks. The only abnormal is the Blessed Hammer attack. No others.

What he said.
You mention your merc with Bonehew getting the bonus...it's because Conc is supposed to increase physical damage.
I still don't get why Conc works with BH.

Because Blizzard really likes the Hammerdin.
Honestly

I guess so...only way to explain why a physical damage aura works with magical hammers.

And why it is the only character that has no problem with immunes
(yes, I know-except for A3 wailing beat but who the hell fight these guys??)

Shhhh...not everyone knows about Wailing Beasts.
And other than that there's a reasonable explanation. Most magic immunes happen to be undead...which BH does more damage to. -_-;;

don't you have to fight those wailing beasts once in a while to get 5 free stat points? =)

Yeah but necros can use Wailing Beasts in the nastiest way.

LOL
Of course there's a "reasonable" explanation. That's what they want you to think.
No, seriously, I'm not saying it doesn't reasonable "game-wise" I'm saying how they made BH is not reasonable "logic-wise".
Blizzard love the Hammerdin, so they made BH invincible.
PS- and now. you can just vigor/tele away from them. No need for killing to get that "black bood". And there aren't ALWAYS wailing beasts in the tombs

the hammer does both physical and magical damage. its the way the skill was built, its a magic (hence magic damage) hammer (that's the physical). concentration boost the physical damage from the hammers, while the hammer still does 50% damage magically.
Did i lose anyone?
hammer= 100% physical + extra 50% magic (magic damage is = to 50% of the physical damage)
so if say the hammer does 100 damage and concentration boost it to 200 damage, thats 200 physical and 100 magic damge given for a total of 300 total damage.
that's why the hammerdin seems to do so much damage
that's just how i was explained, take it or leave it however you like

If that were the case people would be stressing DR gear vs Hdins. As that's not the case...I highly doubt any part of them is physical.
The reason Hammers do so much to magic immune mummies is because they avoid the immunities and resistances of the undead.
Simple.
